You're wondering "Am I tired ? Do I suck ? Did I only have a little moment of talent?" And then you see this person, younger than you, but skilled. Really skilled. Amazingly skilled. Something like you'll never be. This person already have her own style, her own personality. And can make wonders.
And you're stuck here. Without doing anything. Because you know that it's useless. That you'll never reach this level. And you're jealous. Not jealous enough to wish death upon this person, but jealous.
And then, when you're tired of being jealous, you take your pen again. To draw your frustration.
And it sucks.

Oh lord I know that feeling.
And have seen that feeling. At least 90% of the people I watch have had moments where they express their lack of confidence.
But I look at their art and see something I'll never achieve and just say...
You're awesome and I support you.
Cause that's what watchers should do. If we can't make it ourselves we should support those that do.
